Lifesavers, The Royal Life Saving Society UK, is the UK governing body for Lifesaving and Lifeguarding and is the leading drowning prevention organisation in the UK and Ireland.
We are the Bradford & Airedale Branch incorporating all RLSS members in the region. We have lots of activities going on involving clubs, individuals and other organisations such as the ASA, Scouting and Guide groups as well as businesses who require First Aid Training. See the clubs section of this website for more information on our clubs.
Founded in 1891 the Society has more than 13,000 members in 50 branches and 1,400 active lifesaving and lifeguarding clubs throughout the UK and Ireland. There are many ways you can become involved as a lifesaver. This can range from learning new skills which you could use to save a life; becoming a member or supporter; participating in a wide range of exciting and rewarding activities; getting a recognised qualification or you can make a donation to help us provide lifesaving information and training for young and old alike.
